Tecumseh alloy flywheels

Looking around I have found a few Tecumseh alloy flywheels (points) and can't figure out what they were used for. Does anyone have any ideas?

Generally, those were on vertical shaft engines.

And they are cut for the H30 size crankshaft

I bought one off Ebay for my H60. It weighed almost the same as the Cast iron one!! Turn it down on a lathe and shaved off fins, Still in the middle of the rebuild. Fit the H60 shaft fine.
