Tecumseh H30 spark plug part #

Need to replace plug on 1972 vintage H30. What is the type/# and gap ? Hardware store has good a selection but is vague on specific applications

In a funny way yes... Just take your old plug to match up..my wallyworld has the RCJ8 for 1.28.... So we are stocked up... Think RRCJ8is the short body plug both piled up...

RJ17LM, if you feel you need a Hotter plug, the R19LM is what they used on in the cold weather (snowblowers) engines. If you would like to verify that, you simply take your engines model number and use it to find the parts breakdown online for it and look at part number 37 of engine #1 parts list for early 1970's H30's...... And .030 is the plug gap you use which is also listed on sheet below which is from a Tecumseh manual.

The RVJ8 was too short to thread into my H30. The hexagon was so low it hit the recoil shroud You results may vary
