Tecumseh H35 side exhaust question

Has anybody ever converted a side exhaust muffler to the rear? Does anybody know a company that makes a pipe that could do it? There seems to be a lot of edgers for sale on Craig's List these days that are side poopers , but Tec minibike engines are becoming harder to find.

Hardware Store Plumbing..

You'll need a nipple and an elbow to make the 90 deg. turn.You might need a bushing after the elbow for the muffler.

my pooper didn't have any threads. I had this made by a guy named "metal man"(go figure). I'm told he might have made a few extras when he was making mine. might wanna check him out and see if he has any more.

That header using a outside foundry is very expensive to make, Not sure why but these foundry guys do not care if its just a minibike part they still want their hourly rate and that part takes time..... When I get my foundry room finished I will cast the part myself and see where its at then.

jamman, if you know how to welded? then any of these pipes posted here would be not to hard to fab up.......:thumbsup:
i just start with a over size washer for a header flange and then go from there.........:weld:

Or just get rid of the exhaust there all togeather looks like a good intake port..:eek:

Actually I sould take a little time and finish the thread up so you can see a finished product...

jeff, i have the perfect place for that header you made:rolleyes:my mini snowco scat..:smile: i would have to take off the heater box(tin cover)and install a minibike style air cleaner. good to go..........:scooter:
