"HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!" My wife said to me as she gave me 12 beautiful beers. Not my normal beers. These were Imperal IPAs. YUM! So I go out to the shop and start the painful boring process of cleaning/polishing spokes. They turned out OK. So since I feeling good I continue the wrenchin' and have another. "Lets put the wheel together!" I say to myself. I get it all together and go to bed HAPPY. I wake up IMG_20200215_071045.jpg grab some coffee and go to the shop to admire alllllllllllllll the progress I made. Only to discover that I laced the wheel WRONG! Thank You New Belgum brewing co. I don't know if there is a "Valhalla" for old brarings and bushings that died in battle, But if there is. I know that these old tired warriors have earned their place at the the table with "Ball Bearing Odin". Rest in Peace suspension soldier, Rest in peace..... IMG_20200216_170307.jpg

ADVENTURES IN FAILURE!!! Have You ever bought an old swing arm on on E-bay. Stirpped all the paint off with a wire wheel. Cleaned it all up, primered it, painted it. put some fancy little letters on it, and then thought that You would spray some clear coat on it ........ IMG_20200226_185559.jpg

I'm still too pissed off to work on the mini. I find that sometimes Ya gotta' work on something else to keep your sanity. Since I'm tired of just cleaning, painting and refurbishing parts. I had to build something. Soooooooooo I started to build the trailer hitch rack out of some old electrical ladder and scrap metal. Not a mini, but, it will carry the mini. Have You ever started building a motor only to remember that You had a different camshaft, somewhere, that You wanted to put in it? So you go to the "Engine shed" and grab one off the shelf, disassemble it but nope, wrong camshaft. so you grab another, and another.... IMG_20200316_170547.jpg

If it’s riding mower engines and I’m looking for one with non-worn lobes, all it’s teeth, and a functional ACR, the answer is yes.
