Throttle Hook Up

The mail man brought me a Max Torque SS clutch today so I made some progress on my mini bike project. My question is how in the world do I hook a twist throttle up to this style Briggs & Stratton engine.

Thanks OND, I've got that kit. My question is how you get around the slide throttle & choke assembly that's already there. Seems like a bunch of that stuff has gotta go!

Yep....a lot of it has to go ! Be creative and you'll figure it out .

This is one I made a few years ago out of a predator throttle kit and a briggs 5hp govenor linkage arm drilled out a bit. You could probably buy everything you need for this at the hardware store instead of using the parts I did. I did eventually put a return spring from the center piece around the bottom to a bolt in the empty hole near the idle adjustment. I think I might have had to drill and tap the boss that it pivots on. Also the piece that pinches the cable is the extra one that comes on a stock predator linkage, it has a snap ring on the back so it can swivel. This should be the same type carb you have.
