Throttle linkage setups that have worked well for me

Next, a setup for modified (i.e. ARC flywheel, rod, springs, cam, etc) OHV engines only:

The threaded piece is intended for a choke cable. I have never put one in yet.

There is a duplicate 'hillside' nut on the inside of the blower housing. This approach allows the linkage plate to mount square to the engine. What you see is an all-thread nut cut at an angle, the other piece is inside and not seen.

This is the plate installed. The bell crank reduces the ratio for a better feeling pedal.
