throttle/shocks

I have been looking online at twist throttles and shocks for my mini. I'm not restoring my Sears to original. Am I better off getting used thumb or twist throttle from a motorcycle wrecker as opposed to the throttles online(which dont seem to have greatest reviews) Same question for the shocks. I am very happy to support the online suppliers, just want to check the quality. Thanks again guys.:shrug:

The mini bike throttles offered should work OK if installed right. Rule of thumb for me is the higher the HP the better the throttle should be I use Motion Pro or Magura if I want to select the pull ratio needed.
As for shock some are just springs and a guide piston. I like to see adjustable spring control and true hydraulic dampening. For my fat butt Harley Davidson might be a starting point.

i used a bike brake lever for my throttle on my mini bike. i have a twist one on my other mini bike and the cable likes to snap on that but the trigger throttle is holding up with no problems.
