The original motor would have been a Briggs 4hp model 100202 ( hard to find). A good, easy to find replacement: Briggs 5hp model 130202. Good clutch replacement: Comet series 20 ( use a Comet 200836A spacer so it will fit the Comet 203790 7/8" wide belt). This Clutch and spacer work with a 3/4" motor shaft.

The driven pulley of the Tote gote is made for a 7/8" wide symmetrical belt, The comet 30 is for a asymmetrical belt. all you need to change is the fixed face side of the clutch and add the spacer.
Well my progress is slow, but I have it 90% disassembled. I am hoping to have it in the shop for sandblasting in the next week or two, then powder coated.
Anyone familiar with Tifan brand motors? My wife, who tells me once this is done, it’s hers, would like electric start. The 6.5hp Tiffany motor is equity with a keyed start.

Never heard of Tifan. I heard of Lifan engines however. Either way the Honda clones in general tend to be very easy to pull start when compared to older flathead engines. I have a H50 Tecumseh and the Predator 212cc are much better starting and easier to tune than the old Tecumseh and I am pretty good with engines. Electric start is nice I love it on my Snowmobile. On most engines with electric start if the engine contains a generator or lightning coil to charge the battery.
