My 1967 model 680 Gote has no kick stand. I would like to duplicate the factory drop down, center stand as closely as I can for it. Can someone please post a pic, or three of an original stand that I can go by? I could fab something up but I would like it to look as original as possible. My '52 Studebaker provides a good steady prop, but it's a little unhandy to carry around to use for a kick stand.
The square bracket shown dead center (+/-) in the second pic is present on both sides of the swingarm and I'm pretty sure that's where the center stand attaches. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
