Ultrasonic cleaner

#1
I have never fooled around with an ultrasonic cleaner, but several of my fellow tinkerers have convinced me that I need one.
Can any of you fine folks give my some pointers? I am currently looking at Vevor machines, partly because I bought one of their heaters and now, I get their ads every time I turn on any electronic device in the house. I am thinking 10 liters would probably fit anything I need to clean.
Any brands to avoid? How about some comments and experience? I can't be the only one who doesn't have one, yet. Thanks in advance.

I have the vevor 6 litre. It's great for cleaning carburetors and engine parts but it doesn't work for rust. If any parts have rust, I treat them prior to cleaning.
Can you give an estimated size of the basket? Would it be possible to fit a stripped chainsaw engine block into it? Like...13x6x6?
The dimensions I am seeing online are pretty vague and inconsistent.

Your "fellow tinkerers" have done you a favor- Get one. My son and I bought our first one 15 years ago and even back then our first reaction after using it for the first time was why didn't we get one sooner?

When I had my camera repair shop, we used one all the time. We used a special solution for camera parts and the solution will make or break your success. Vevor recommends dishsoap and water, Dawn is an excellent grease cutter. You can also do one end at a time if the item is too big. I once did an engine block but it took multiple moves to get the entire block however, that V-8 came out great.

Thank you for the input, everyone. I finally cleared enough space to set up my blast cabinet again. It has been off in a corner since we moved here in 2012. Now, the corner where it was looks like the perfect place for one of these cleaners. Soaking carbs in a can of smelly old solvent is too much of a pain these days.

I received the tool in good shape, got it situated in a corner out of the way and near an electric outlet. This corner is the farthest corner from the entry door. I might drag a hose in to fill the thing, but draining it might be a challenge.I might bore a hole in the back wall and install a piece of 1 1/2 inch pvc with a cap on top. I have a sink that I was thinking about putting right there anyway. I do plan to clean quite a variety of parts in this machine. I have been reading that putting water in the tank and putting parts and required solvent in a zipper bag or glass jar will help reduce solvent waste and keep the water cleaner. Would it be a bad idea to put 50/50 green antifreeze in the tank and just leaving it full? I know ethylene glycol is flammable when heated and I do cut, weld and grind in that building.

Edit: they sent me a 30 liter cleaner when I ordered a 20 liter. I'm fine with that..

I got it situated in my extremely overcrowded garage. I have a ShelterLogic 20x12 portable garage/tent being delivered early next week to store some of this stuff.
We are a family of pack rats. We all grab things that will be useful in the future. We shuffle "stuff" from one place to another just to prioritize one certain project.
I knew I was like that...Had no idea my lovely bride was the same. Now, Will is 12 and he might be worse than we are.
I took some pictures of the parts cleaner today while it was heating up and cleaning some odd parts. I will post them after I clean up the kitchen and start dinner for the working wifey.
