V shaped metal spring!

Does anyone know where I can get the spring for my kids doodlebug hydraulic brakes? I dont want to have to buy a whole new hydraulic kit just for the spring. Does the standard caliper have one too? Its the v shaped spring that keeps putward pressure on the pads........grrrrrrrrrr. Holding me up. Thanks for any ideas or help

Try the hardware stores and see what springs they have. You can always cut one to make it smaller to fit.

If you'd only asked this a week ago. I know the exact piece you're talking about and threw one away last weekend. It fell out of a damaged caliper and was sitting on the work bench for months. Finally got tired of seeing it there and tossed it.
