Vintage Briggs and Stratton 2.5HP "Easy Spin" engine!

One of the mini bikes I bought a few days ago has this old Briggs and Stratton 2.5HP "Easy Spin" engine. I cleaned the external parts a bit and found a serial/model number on the side. It says: 80102 0168 01 6802191. Can someone help me track this down to the year this motor was made and what it was used on please? I also believe I'm missing a part on top of the carburetor since they are put inside the engine.

Yep - 1968 model - used on Lawn edger and real to real lawn mowers.

Where would I get a new gasket kit for this thing? I'm thinking about tearing it down.

go to your local lawnmower shop & bring the model# Type# & code# with you, they can order anything you need..
