I may have the air filter you need...is your carb screwed to the top of the tank? Flat head briggs motor? What h.p. motor? Let me know as I have some spares...John.

no old 3.5 hp horiz shaft

I have an air filter from a 5 h.p. horizontal engine if it will work for you. The old tin flat top style that takes a foam filter. Let me know, John.
