I know it was a good deal at 200.00. '72 CAT R3002 REAL WINNER. Hell just the honda motors probably worth that. This has nice fenders, foot peg grips, handle bars, stars, and the hard to find kill switch plate. The only bummer is they used the front brake too many times....So I straightened the forks and added the correct motor and a seat for the last picture.....

Valuation on 40+ yr. old stuff is hard. Not old enough to have general appeal. You seem to like this marque. Therefore you value it, most likely, more than someone who has no sentimental attachment to a Cats, right?

I'm a Gilson person. I see value in those and will pay virtually anything for OE examples. I'm extremely critical now about what a Gilson is worth and junk Gilsons/Wards/ACs don't ring my bell. Switch plate? Probably the equivalent to a clutch guard on a Gilson huh? Damn guard in fine shape will fetch $200...
