West bend flywheel removal

82015....Ends in an odd number, usually means RH threads on the nut correct??? The older ones were 7/16-20 threads, and the Tecumseh flywheel tool (knocker) works on them. part number 670103 for standard threads and 670118 for reverse threads.
Thread the knock-off tool down within just a couple of threads of bottoming out (after you remove the nut and cup) Take a medium size hammer and smack the knocker nut sharply and straight while applying pressure on the backside of the flywheel......Its the same as removing a Tecumseh small and medium frame flywheel like on our mini bikes, so if you work on Tec's you should have the tool....at least the RH thread one onhand.
