What A Fun Time

#1
This AM I got ot go in and have cameras shoved down my throat and up my exhaust. Those of you who have had this done know about the prep for this procedure. You stop eating at midnight two days before and you stop drinking the night before. But the really fun part is the day before you have to drink 64 ounces of this stuff you mix with Gatorade. This is after you have taken 4 Ducolax. When this stuff kicks in, you had better be near porcelain. This time around it really hit me bad and was accompanied by dry heaves pretty much thru the night. What a party. I can promise this will be the LAST time I do it. There must be an evil doctor somewhere that thinks these things up. These scopes are important but at 73 I'll take my chances from here on out.

Hey man, can relate.
Had polyps since age 36. Now 64
It is worth it as treatments are easy when found soon.

As an Old Buck told me;
It's better to be on This Side of the dirt for as long as possible.

Good news is the anesthesia is soo much better than it was 25 years ago.
Then you were hung over for like a day, now you wake up, get cleared to leave and Go Eat!

Been there, I cheated and made a couple gallon jugs of Arnold Palmers LOL.. When I woke up the Doc told me I did a great job prepping LOL.
Made my wife take me to Taco Bell on way home! Man she gave me a hard time over that..

The day of or after the procedure it's easy to think never again, and we all know why. But I really like the way pomfish put it. It's better to be on this side of the dirt. Never heard that one before. Every 2 or 3 years when I'm told I need another one I end up agreeing.
