You know, throughout my life I've had relationships with numerous women. Too many to count. Some good & some not so good.
I don't ask a whole lot from my women but the one thing consistent in all my relationships is that I require all of my women to adhere to the lyrics of this hit song from 1968. If they do that, we're good to go. After all, I'm just a man.

Ahh... old time 'Country and Western Music' ... reminds me of my Grandfather.
In the early 60's , Granddaddy built him and Grandma a 2 story , 2600 square foot on each floor , house in the country (Bowling Green SC) about 10 miles from our town (GastoniaNC). The basement was where Granddad had his stereo. One of those cabinet models with the turntable built in. 2600 square feet with an intercom and speakers wired into each room. He'd crank it up with the windows and doors open and we'd hear that stuff playin all over his backyard.
Oh lord we poked fun at that country music ... I was into 'rock and roll'
I sure hope my Granddad did not take offense to us mocking that twang as we imitated those singers. And I wish he had some way of knowing how fond I have become of that beautuful polished Nashville sound , and those pedal steel Hawaiian slide guitars , of the 1960's that remind me so much of him.
