what centrifugal clutch for 69 Fox trail tramp?

#1
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement clutch for 69 fox trail tramp.

All the ones I have found are just 1 housing and sprocket.

The one on my fox is a double. It has two separate identical housings with sprockets and 1 wide shoe assembly in the middle.

I can't seem to locate anything like it on line.

Thanks

If you used the sandwich version, then they won't line up the way they currently are. You'd have to adjust the jackshaft sprockets in order to use the new one. The other version of the clutch is really difficult to find, and then commands some big money.

I think I'm gonna try putting this one back on first, all I need is 1 of the brass flange bushing/bearing that slide over the shaft. It has two on there, one on each sprocket housings that cover the clutch. I was being an idiot and boogered one of them up.

This is what he's looking for. Pretty sure they were made by Fairbanks Morse, kinda hard to find.

A standard two speed (single drum) won't work on his Fox with the way the chains run.

If the drum is OK and you just need the bushing, you should be able to get it at any bearing shop or possibly McMaster Carr..

Yes! That is exactly what I have! I took the bushing that I have in to motion industries and they matched it to a Isostatic flange bushing part # FF-838-03.
It is 3/4 ID X 7/8 OD X 1" length. Flange thickness is 1/16".

I ordered two of them and hope they will work, I'm not sure though if the flange should be on the inside of drum or on outside on sprocket. Based on the pic you posted, looks like it's on the outside of drum on right and inside of the left one. Is that correct?

Thank you for the pic, very helpful.
