what clutches were used on the 340 tri sport models?

I didn't get the orig engine or driver clutch and the driven clutch is bent up...salsburys look pretty close, if that's what they used what model clutches were they?

Mine is a Salsbury 780. I found a NOS clutch and driven on Ebay.

Higher power models got the 800 series. Then 780's are rated to 40hp. Any higher and you'll need better. Comet duster is common and work great.

I wish that was closer, chances of finding one around here is probably pretty slim.

I bought a Tri-Sport RTS here in Portland, OR years back and it came with I think a ported very hot twin carb 340CC Kohler engine. And it came out of a snowmobile and that driver clutch engaged with a very pronounced snap so remember you can make changes to a smoother softer start for a wheeled unit and give the #40 chain a better chance of longevity.
