What crank type will I find on this Briggs?

Anybody know or suspect what kind of crank pto this sort of Briggs generator has? Keyed, tapered, etc? Wondering if it's worth the effort and the money. I like the idea of a generator engine more than a tiller or other because chances are better it hasn't seen a lot of hard use. Thanks in advance for any comment.

Without verifying, I am pretty sure I have several usable cranks for a model 13, 5 horse, you're welcome to pay shipping and it's yours.
If it's a 4 horse, I think I can supply that, too.
I have several old engines for parts. I haven't removed anything to measure the cranks, but I can if you need one.

I think I have that same generator and use it to run the AC and lights in my wife's she-shed out in the back corner of the yard.
It works well for about 2 hours, then she comes back home. Haha

I picked it up for fifty dollars and am still en route to the southwest side of Chicago I call home. Pics will follow of what appears to be a nice clean Briggs 5hp. PXL_20251005_215110651~2.jpg

Thanks a lot, @sparkwizard. I appreciate your help and comments.

It's too late to fire up the neighbors now, and I think I want to see the cylinder beforehand. A couple of the head bolts seem to have lost some factory paint, too. So I don't know if it's been opened already. Still, it's a score because it's so much like the other green 5hp I picked up last year. And here I present both. Last year's find is the dustier of the two.

And then there is today's purchase:

I'll post more about model numbers when I have a closer look but it already looks like they were manufactured at the same plant just about 3 years apart.

The PTO end will either have a ball bearing or a plain bearing, which means no bearing, just a hole in the side cover. The starter will either have the old school "clutch" with the ball bearings or a "cup" like a Tecumseh or most others. The "cup" engines did not have that long stud on the flywheel end of the crank to support the "clutch" on the older engines. The stud can be removed for use with a cup type starter, but the clutch type starter will not work without it. I think your older generator has the clutch starter. The one you just bought looks like the cup type. I suspect both are plain bearing side covers.
with the starter clutch stud:

This is the starter clutch I was talking about. It uses ball bearings to engage when you pull the rope. It needs that stud to keep it in line.

I do not have a crank for a ball bearing PTO engine. 130232 has a ball bearing in the side cover.

EDIT I DO have a ball bearing crank with bearing AND side cover with the 4 threaded holes for a TC or chain guard/brake. It has 3/4 threaded and keyed PTO. It does NOT have the pilot for the starter clutch. It will need the starter cup like a Tecumseh. I suspect your 92 engine has the correct starter for this crank. This would be an upgrade, since a 135212 should have a plain main bearing.

You're mighty kind, Dave. And I'll be following your advice about keeping the better of the two, too. Later this week, I aim to get into these and confirm the internals are as predicted. Also want to assess cylinder conditions. Thanks also for the starter info since this cup crank will be my newest Briggs ever (aside from my lawn mower.)

I am trying to clear out some of the 4 stroke parts laying around to make room for my 2 stroke hoarding obsession.
PM your address when you are ready. I'll box it up and ship it to you. I'll PM the tracking number and shipping cost.
I hate to throw good parts away when good people can put them to use. Merry Christmas, Sir!.
