What did I drag home now?

It's been cut on a bit. Well, brake bracket changed for use with a modern brake caliper. Plus an extra brake cable bracket added. But it does appear to be a LiL Indian. Check under the motor to see if there is a hole in the center of the motor mounting holes. That'll get you started on the vintage of bike you have.

The 4 holes amonst the 4 slots appear to have been added. If there had been a single hole located somewhere near the middle of the 4 slots, it would have told you that it was a later issue LiL Indian frame. This not having the hole I'm talking about most likely makes it an earlier Briggs frame. By earlier I mean pre '68 I think it is. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong but LiL Indian started using Tecumseh engines in late '68. So that should give you a start on what you have. If you dig around on here, you'll find various threads explaining all the different characteristics that can help put a year on it or get it closer.
