sorry for the confusion!
I got the "blown engine" on the splitter up and running, but it was puking a ton of oil out the breather. did a leak down and a compression test and both were good. changed the breather and it was still puking oil. (in retrospect, there was some water in the crankcase and I think it was making the oil foam and causing the problem). swapped it out for an electric start Vanguard, built a battery box, and ran some wiring. the splitter only had 1 leak, and it turned out to be a loose line. I might have $155 in the thing, and it is a badass machine. well worth the effort not to have to swing the maul anymore
