1967 Pontiac LeMans 326, all orgininal interior, ugly primer paint job, but it was MINE. I sold it to a guy who took it back home to Sweden. I couldnt take his hassling any longer for the car. Now I hassle him to bring it back to the states.

no i search for one of these with no luck. id trade every minibike i own for that car again.

I have a lot more regrets of things I've bought than sold, like my 78 Trans-AM, my 77 Triumph Spitfire, my 71 VW Type III, my Yamaha Warrior, my Yamaha XT-350, all things I've bought and barley used only to sell for less than what I paid for them. As I think back, I would much rather have the money and the time these items cost me while I could have been doing something more memorable.

This is a very long list, but in 2010 my son needed braces and a school trip to Washington, D.C. led to me to sell my Harley Davidson 2009 XR1200. I really liked that bike and had many other types and brands in between but never got over that bike and in 2020 I found another one.

Thanks again for the post, it brought back a lot of fond memories.

I bought a few Snap on swivel impact socket sets as a young mechanic back in 1981. Without those I wouldn't even want to work on cars.

I sold a 03 ZR900 this fall because I get north maybe 1 or 2 times a winter...this year I have been north 4 times and its not even February...I bought a ZL600 but I know its not the same. At least I can replace it if I really want to.

I had some of those impact ''ball swivel '' sockets myself …
Definite must for drive train stuff ect.

Had a 68 BSA lightning chopper once.
My first street bike was a 66 Triumph TR6C.

If I added all the stuff that I had,, & still had it today,,, & put it all up for sale,,,, I could pretty much retire very nicely for awhile......

First car was a 69 Triumph GT6+.
Had 3 - 70' 'cuda's .
1 - 71' Challenger SE, that they made 436 of them.
Rare 73' Plymouth Sebring +.
And the list goes on …………….

Funny thing, Back in the day,, the Mopar's were pretty much the poor kids hot rods, & were cheap..
I always knew that they were ''very'' special cars,, & would someday be worth ''a lot'' of bread .

Kind of like the band 'Rush', that nobody liked ''back in the day'',, but I did & still do,,, & always knew that they were ''way'' ahead of their time,, & would someday be sought after & very recognized.

No Regrets. Every Car I’ve owned since I was 18 in 74’, I’ve sold to fund another project. 66 Chevelle SS 396 sold to Customize a 63 Impala. Sold that to buy my first Harley which I still own 38 years later. 49 Merc sold to buy a house in 87’. 60 Ranchero for a 49 GMC. Sold to Customize a 95 Silverado. Sold that to pay Cash for my 2nd Harley (still own). Ok ONE regret, I want another Merc! 30 years after I sold it , The Merc and I reunited! I saw it at a Car Show. The Current Owner restored it Beautifully. 275ADAD4-2604-418E-AC83-01CA63E7FB89.png 96AFD0D6-C308-4CA8-9AFA-3580E9251BF1.jpeg AC33301F-C9EE-49F4-8158-51E69699A369.png B9E79465-67F7-4A39-9B4D-7609F10FC07F.jpeg 51D42042-0307-4B93-BD9A-06719948AC91.jpeg 4F8907C9-12B7-4884-AEDA-C1E2A469AE4B.jpeg 8DBC7752-A2D9-46F0-8634-174EA023DEFE.png D898AB68-19E1-4067-BD00-87D017B0B1F6.jpeg

My 1971 Kawasaki MT1 (KV75) mini trail. (parnelli jones edition) Bought it for $30 at a local junkyard, rough looking, but had it running in a day. Ran great for a while, then got too weak to move itself. Went to tear it down, and for every one thing to fix, more kept popping up. broke the piston after putting in new rings, had to rebuild the transmission, etc. I sold it to fix my truck.
Now the things go for bonkers money, and I remember how fun it was to ride. CAM02303.jpg
