What is a Super Bronc worth?

#1
I found a Super Bronc in a shed. The guy is willing to sell but I want to offer him a fair price. It is complete but does need a lot of work. Tire are dry rotted and the cables are stuck. The old Tecumseh engine needs replaced. The front shock don't look good either. I would appreciate the help.

Do some research in the classifieds. See what they've been listed for and go from there. Condition will play a huge factor, as will how complete the bike is. Lots of little parts on these things and it adds up fast

Unfortunately, that's all i can give you as we don't give values here. Site rules.

Bottom line is, if you really want it offer what your willing to pay for it. Restoring it won't be cheap, sounds like it won't be cheap just to make it ridable either.

IMG_0603.JPG Sorry about the rule infraction but here is what I am looking at. There isn't much info on what these things are worth and I didn't want to low ball the guy if the thing was worth a lot.

Here are a few bikes that were for sale on the classifieds recently. Use these and gauge the condition to determine what the value should be. I think it's safe to say that most of use this method when trying to find the value of a bike

Just wondering what this giant pipe is...

If I am not mistaken...they've used a 90 degree elbow out from the exhaust port...got it pointed kind of down...with a hot dog muffler on it, then they extended that hot dog muffler with a pipe of sorts, to route the heat down...away from the seat and the riders legs.

That said, it sure is close to the rear foot peg ?

Either way, pretty complete looking bike. If you can get it for what you feel comfortable with, go for it. Best riding mini (maxi) that I have !

I see the clutch cover is off and stuck under the seat. That is good unless it is broken off. It could mean it needs a new belt or the drive/driven messed up. Maybe just a little TLC will bring the whole bike to life.

Fenders. Check
Head light. Check.
TAV Bracket. Check
Lighted HM80. Check.
Tail light bracket. Check.
Front Band Brake. Check.

Everything that is normally missing is there. Nice bike.

I'd be all over that.

A Super Bronc is priceless to a person who rides, maintains, and enjoys one on a regular basis. You just can't beat how fun they are to ride.

Oh Ok I think you're right. I had thought the exhaust was where it should be but as Sludgeboy pointed out that is the clutch cover. Weirdly tight angle to lead an exhaust down though. No matter, I'd cut that off right away. I like this bike. I'd buy it immediately.
