The scrub brake is gone to, but you cant beat that for $40 :thumbsup:

I was wondering about that. I was looking for where the scrub brake was and it was so smooth I didn't think it had one. Ok, going to research and try to bring it back to factory specs

If it was a Sprite, it would have had a disk caliper on the rear sprocket. Did they make a Sprite with a scrub brake?

those wheels are correct, should have a 40/41 chain, and would have had a disc brake originally. Had 2 of those in the past couple of years, they are late built bikes from the 70's. bottom right
