Seems to be super rare since I couldn’t find images of one although I knew I had seen ads for them. Had to dust off my old computer to find the ads since I couldn’t find a bike or an ad on the internet. Early Fox Doidlebug/Sprite model with the single downtube (That somebody beefed up with angle iron as well as extending the rear axle tabs). Also included is a pic of the screen of ads on my PC since I couldn’t get it to connect to the internet. Along with a pic of it’s forefather, the Model 1200 by GoKart apparently just before or after GoKart went down and got bought up by Flexo and Fox. If anybody has one or even has pics of one then post up.

Nice find and despite the sacrilege of the angle iron additions, at least it appears to have been done well. Was the single downtube historically a weak feature leading to fractures or such? Scratch that. With anything this old, they all tend to suffer where the frame members meet the head tube.

I will say that the Honda(?) engine with that gas tank integrates nicely with the bike.

People used to beef stuff up ahead of time back in the day, but it is easily removed. The Honda engine will not stay there if I keep it.

Fox bikes around here are kinda like Tacos in California, or Lil Indians in Michigan, pretty common. (Although the Fox plant is less than an hour away)
You're right, early Sprite/GK 1200. I'm pretty sure I have one buried in the garage. Also have an 1100 in the basement, I was about to cut off the scrub brake to fit a way too big airplane tire before I realized what it was. Cool little 4" magnesium wheels and all. I'll try to get some pics this weekend. Also have a few Sprites/Trailbugs and a Campus or two .

Yep, those are Campus bikes. Wayne (Ogygopsis) was in the middle of restoring them when he passed. I believe the guy who does the Windber show ended up with them .

@Mark G Yes Jeff in Windber has the bikes. They were not complete so he is finishing them up. There are some parts he had to make. When he is done, a couple are going in a car museum that Olgy was active in, a couple are going back to the family and Jeff gets to keep the rest.

That's fantastic that they are getting completed, I know Ogy was really particular about his work.
