Where can I find a chain guard for this mini bike?

Preferably a USA made one. I believe motor is Briggs and Stratton 3 hp.

I do not think your Briggs has the traditional 4-bolt holes on the engine case used on newer engines for chain guard attachment. You may have to use a chain guard from another application and mount it on the frame as attachment points.

Sometimes you have to get creative, you could find one from a tiller or edger and engineer it to fit your needs. I've got a couple large chain guards from chain drive tillers I plan to use on big tire bikes if I ever need them. Possibly that bike had a TC on it from the factory that had a guard.

Yes, chain guards are used on minibikes with these engines. Sometimes you can find a sump cover on Ebay with the 5/16-24 holes in them. Currently, there are none. The other solution is to fashion mounting struts using the sump cover mount holes, with standoffs and longer bolts. The struts then support a generic or home made clutch guard.

You can always get really creative and make your own. This is an example of one I'm making for an electric scooter. Made from a cardboard template with pretty basic hand tools and a lot of gumption.

If you contact @Jim Donovan of Max Torque Clutches, he has some stand offs and covers in plastic of fiberglass, that you would have to trim with a dremel. But it is an easy solution.

Now some of that stuff is expensive but I imagine there’s other sites that compete with McMcaster that will sell a generic chain guard for less.
