Sachs recoil are not available and pretty much non existent. Somebody was remanufacturing them but I don't think so anymore. If you do find one in working condition they are pricey.

Like said above about the recoil. Hard to find. If you do find one, be prepared to pay up. Last one I seen that was sold was 325.00 recently.

Is your recoil still on the engine? Is there any possibility it can be repaired?

no recoil is missing

Given the scarcity of that recoil, I would look into adapting another type onto that engine.
If you find one, you might help everyone else looking for a recoil.
Can you post a picture of the side of the engine where the recoil mounts? I have a ton of old chainsaw parts to look at.
