Why can't I find 5" Astros wheels

Just picked up a nice frame with some custom fabrication from a forum member. Really nice guy by the way.

I want to put some astro wheels on it but I am limited with size because of a custom scrub brake.
I would like to get some Astros for it but need a 5" rim. I like the tri stars, but the Astros are much more preferred.

Unless I can find a lower profile tire to fit the 6" rim

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is nothing like the Astro five spoke wheels in 5 inch that I am aware of. :shrug:

Wonder why? Not that I'm an engineer, but they don't look like they couldn't be made in a 5"

They are NOT made in anything but 6 inch

Ape that scrub brake is made to be removed... you can always find a way to make it disc, or drum brake compatible.. i was going to change the braking system on it myself. Dont let it stop you from getting some bigger wheels.
