Will a briggs 5 hp flat head motor be a direct fit for my Fox Banshee?

Currently it has a griggs 3 hp flat head motor. Looking for little more power.

A model 13, 5 horse Briggs will bolt onto the engine plate. The 3 quart gas tank will probably hit the fender. That will nearly double your power, plus, there are performance parts for the model 13. Look for "Raptor" parts.

How do you know your engine is a 3hp briggs & starton? And are you sure it's performing at the height of its potential?

Pull the head and measure the stroke.
2HP = 1.5"
3HP = 1.75"
They both have the same bore = 2.375"
