Will This Work Well?

I have a Predator 212 Gen 3 with a billet rod, 10k aluminum flywheel, 275 Superjet cam from brown box cams, flat top piston, 26lb springs, with a center exit 3 stage trumpet exhaust, full gov and oil sensor delete, oil return hole drilled out for better return with a Nibbi PE24mm with a 112 main and 38 pilot all on a Mega Moto 80 frame. I just purchased a 53 tooth split sprocket and I’m running a 12 tooth clutch. is this a viable street setup?

I've built 7 of the predator small blocks ( 212 & 224 ) engines. Your combination sounds pretty solid. You might find you need a billet side cover. Sometimes they want to shake that joint loose no matter what you do. The billet side cover fixes that. How tall is the rear tire. Your gearing is 4.5 to 1. That's pretty tall. Might not let the engine get into the higher rpm range, which is where you're going to find the horsepower. I run mostly karts with 18" tall tires and run 10 X 60 on everything. Give it a try. You can always change if it bogs or struggles to wind up.

I’m running a 145/70–6 tire right now but plan to switch to a 15/7-6 tire plus I only do street riding so I’m look for more top speed

You're gonna dump too much fuel with that carburetor in my opinion , a 22mm is way plenty !

The 24mm Nibbi is just another carb option. I'm sure a lot of guys use them. There are multiple sellers on Amazon and the kits are around $65 or so. They look like nice carbs with a black color.

I don't think 24mm is too big. I'd bet there are guys running 24mm Nibbi's on stock engines with a header pipe. When Red Beard dyno'd slide carbs, he was using a stock engine, and included a flat slide 24mm Mikuni in his testing. If a carb of this size can be tuned to a stock engine it most certainly can be tuned to a built engine.

They say the VM22 clones are 26mm, but I could care less what size they are. Guys, including a member here have ran these on GX160's with stock cams. They tuned just fine on my 196's stock or not.
