Well you just have to know the answer is yes but most people prefer vintage engines hence the name OLD mini bikes....
I think the 550 is made in China but cannot confirm. The Briggs 550 is 3.5 HP.

Maybe you could take your bike, view it from the side, put a yardstick or tape measure on the top to bottom area and fore to aft area and measure the real estate you have. Take photos and use this type of illustration that manufacturers often provide. The attached one is the Briggs 550:

3.5 horsepower, I also believe it is made in China.
Predator 212 is cheap, powerful, has unlimited parts available, also Chinese.
American made, my choice would be a 5 horse Briggs.
