The Ramrod is my first bike I ever owned and I still have it. Bought in 1984 for $80
Looking for the following:
tail light assy
The metal shrouding that goes around the cylinder
Core carburetor
kill switch
brake cables
Jeff Mihalko at Restoration Specialties will make you some custom cables. They are 2-piece brass ends and slightly narrower barrels than the originals on the lever end, but the best quality and the closest to original that you'll find anywhere. NOS are non-existent. I use Jeff's cables on all my Arctic bikes if I can't find a good used one (which is impossible).
Cool. Let me know if you're ever in town again. If anyone is into Arctic's, we can go see John Nepper. His dad was the head of engineering for Arctic and General Leisure and designed all the Arctic bike models, both from Thief River and Omaha. John has one or more of every model. John runs a plastics corp about a mile from Jimmy's shop.
