Picked up a 79 toro snowblower in amazing condition that I'm going to restore, get everything powder coated, new chrome, zinc plating all of them original hardware and all.
Trying to figure out what's worth doing to the engine for performance and reliability not sure if getting the cam reground is with it but kinda thinking a billet rod is probably a not a bad idea.
So far I Ordered a .042" copper head gasket to see how it likes the higher compression, can always get the head milled later if it leaks, cleaned up the intake and exhaust ports, and the block is going to the machine shop tomorrow to have the valve seats cut and guides replaced as the intake one is completely, exhaust isn't as bad but still not great.
