Crofton "Bug" mini jeep

#1
My neighbor has obtained a Crofton Bug....mini Jeep two wheel drive. He has offered it to me as he dose not swing wrenches.
I've looked at the vehicle and the body and frame is sound with very light rust.
It has the smallest 4-cylinder engine I have ever seen. I know nothing about this mini jeep and this is the first one I have ever seen.

I thought I share a few photos of this neat little off-road vehicle.

Cool Jeep-thing! I think there is a lot of support available for those Crosley engines. They were made in Cincinnati. The Cincinnati airport (which is in Kentucky BTW), has two or three nicely restored Crosleys on display in the baggage claim area.

Very cool project! I saw one at an engine show once. I believe it was actually Crosley branded called the farm & road i think. They even had a pto output so you could run implements with it

Fun fact. They called the Jeeps a Bug before they started calling them Jeeps. Back when they were still prototypes by Bantam. Probably where they came up with the name.
