HS40 kill switch....quick question

#1
This is a 1985 HS40 from a snowblower. It had a cut white wire attached to the coil tab closest to the cylinder. Could that have been the original kill switch?
All research shows the switch being attached to the other tab ..will a kill switch work on either??
Thanks!!!

the tab is the male spade for the kill wire, in thr front thats not a connector, its the lug thats solders the coil to the plate and problaby shoud not be messed with!

Lemme guess:

This is a CDI electronic ignition motor (flywheel removed.) No points to replace! If you want a remote kill switch, solder a wire to the solder lug shown with the blue arrow. Note this block can support either a CDI ignition *or* a points/condenser magneto. This can be seen by the mounting points for the points/condenser magneto (not used.)

Funniest thing......the kill wire is literally right there in the pic going to the throttle controlled kill switch found on a snow blower :D
