Is there a more effective way of stopping my mini bike other than the 5" drum brake that it has? Like a front mounted disk brake?

I have an old Clinton engine that has no identifiable marks on it. It is identical to a B1290, so perhaps that is what it is. But do not quote me on that. Anyways, what would be a reasonable price for the: block-good condition, no rust flywheel cover-good condition, small recoil problem...

This engine came off of a mini bike that my uncles won at around ~1969 from a Pepsi Cola contest. I believe that it is a Tecumseh H30 but there are no serial numbers on it, and the engine block seperates in places unlike any Tecumseh I have looked at. I need help if I am to restore this...

I am new to mini bikes and am starting off by restoring my uncles old one. The darn thing is so old that I just need some help...so here I am. :smile:
