yep my piston is a dead horse, luckily i only paid 25.00 for the engine and the rod and racing carb is worth more than that

i need a new or like new piston for 4.475 rod and an aluminum std bore (chrome) brggs 5hp. wiesco, horstman etc

Hey Briggs, thanks for chiming in. From reading your other posts i value your opinion. The numbers on the top say 1986 and it is a standard bore, take a look at the attachment. Let me know waht you think. BTW the engine had the 4.75 inch rod also on the attacmnet so i know it's a .590...

the only thing i am worried about if it it screws up the bore on a engine that is in rally good shape. Can this happen?
