The id numbers are one the left side swing arm, near the rear sprocket. Clean the paint off the swing arm tube and you should see some numbers. The first is the year it was made and the second letter is the model number.

I may have what you need. I have two Taco 44's. Are you looking for the lower leg size? I live in grass Valley

The paint is just a rattle can paint, Rust-oleum 257399 purple. Its as close to the Taco color that I could find, without spending the big bucks.

Need help with a jack shaft for a 1966 Taco 44. Anybody have any pics? Need to know what the stock set-up looks like? Thanks!

Can anyone send me a pick of a jack shaft set up on a taco 44. My swing arms have bearings that connect to the shaft. Need to see tha layout. What keeps the swing are from sliding around on the shaft? Thanks for any help! :shrug:
