I found a hs40 with a late build date of 71 would it be appropriate for a 71 or 72 model Enduro

I have been looking for new wheels, mine rusted where are the go to replacement . They are out of stock.

Iam a machinist I have a 71,72 rupps the jack shafts are shot I would like to make them out of 4340 and beef them up. Has anyone else done this yet. If you did can you give me some information on how you did it and what bearing etc. New to this.

Iam a machinist i have a71 &72 rupps i want to make better jack shafts with 4340 steel. Better and stronger than original. Has anyone done this before using better bearings etc can give me some insight information would be greatly appreciated.
