Brake Help?

Hey guys! I hope all is well with you all. I have a question.....

With a cable-driven brake drum, is it better to control it with a foot control or a hand control. The great thing about a project like mine is the fact that you have options such as these. Which is the better way to go?

More force can be given with a foot brake as long as your mechanism is strong enough to hold your leg strength. If brakes work well, a hand brake will suffice

Hello Wilby90, It's too easy to lock up the rear wheel using a foot pedal with
a drum brake. The bike will begin to fishtail and you will lose control. That's why almost all minibikes manufactured with drum type rear brakes use a hand control to operate engage it. Good luck. Ogygopsis aka Bikerwayne
