Do you need to switch breathers when switching to a carb with no nipple for the breather tube? Can you simply remove the tube from the breather? Thanks

you would want to at least use the 90 degree vent tube pointed down to help keep debris/moisture etc out of the breather assembly. You can drill a hole in the air filter backing plate as well and run the tube directly into it, or just buy the backing plate that already has the hole in it if your wanting to keep it eco friendly.
