exhaust on a tech 3hp???

ok i have a free tech 3hp lil engine that runs like a top am going to put it on my doodle bug for my 7yr old to ride while im building the 6.5 clone engine, questions is how do you run the exhaust so it wont burn his leg??? runs out the side?????? i know its a small engine but he wants to put up and down the drive way thanks guys...

I take it you have a side pooper? Which mont on the doodle are you going to use? (left or right) Do you have the stock muffler?

If the engine is to the right, you should have enogh room to just put a heat shield over to front and deflect it at the same time OR you need to make a sharp curve on a new pipe.

It's usually only a problem on bikes with foot pegs in the middle.

Try a combo heat shield deflector. :thumbsup:
