buy the correct tool ,but those flywheels usually pop off real easy,back off the nut to the end of the shaft ,insert a screwdriver or prybar between the flywheel and case ,and a sharp whack with a hammer on the end of the shaft will pop it off easily .Dont pry very hard or you will break something,and be carefull with the hammer so as not to damage the threads .I did this countless times without any problems ,but once I finally got the tool I didnt use the back woods method anymore .
