Back in the 70's, Shwarck Quarries, near Lincoln, Nebraska, used to open it's gates to recreational riders on the weekends for a $2 entry fee...
There were acres of trails and ponds for the minibikers to explore, plus trials courses and hillclimb areas for motorcycles...
A great deal of the afternoon was usually spent BBQing and looking over each other's bikes...
I remember seeing a minibike that had footpegs mounted on (roughly) 4" long angled shafts that attached to the frame with spline nuts/spline bolts...
Similar to the design for a kickstarter or shifter...
The idea was that the rider could pull the peg arm off the spline bolt mount on the frame, rotate the arm until the peg was a comfortable height and position, then push the arm back on and retighten the retaining nut...
Anybody remember the brand/model of this mini?
