I am selling this bike with out the engine for 125.00 or would sell it with the engine for 165.00 there is no clutch on the engine. it is near Midland

I wouldn't mind having a set of wheels like that for my Wild Goose...

I do have a question, why would they put a swingarm on the bike and then use solid struts instead of shocks?? that just defeats the purpose.... Maybe a downgraded cheaper version????

Yes they offered 3 priced ranges during the Wards/Gilson era.

That's a 424.........
Wards where either a......
525 5 hp front & rear susp. And chrome forks/sliders and bars
424 4 hp front susp. only, "all you needed was to add shocks to have rear susp." But the struts kept the cost down
323 3 HP solid forks strut rear susp."but it still had a swing arm"
