This bike originally belonged to a Canadian friend. He saved up as a child and this was such a major purchase, that he never let it go. He gave it to me with two rules: must be restored as close to original as possible and he must have one last ride.
Okay, so I may have gone a little south but in my defense, he had no pictures. The original red paint job had faded to a dark pink. I told him that I had to match it as close as possible. And because I had no photos, I was just guessing that a pink bike would have handlebar tassles and a basket. We call it the li' pink death rider because people underestimate the power of this awesome machine, landing flat on their backs after takeoff. Some accessories have broken off due to accidents. And yes, the original owner got his last ride in front of a parking lot of people.
