Yes its fast! The Rupp I had in 69 did have a Tecumseh on it that I replaced with the West Bend 820, I then put a Bonanza gas tank on it, I saw a Bonanza gas tank today at Long Beach Bike Swap but it was on a early 70s Bonanza, O well.
I'm building a Rupp like yours with a west bend 820 on it just like I had 40 years ago
