3 HP B&S, 5/8 shaft

That's what I thought. Are those clutches hard to find? Quick search didn't produce anything. Also, that looks like a brake band on that rear pulley. Maybe that's what the cable stop is for.

This 3 HP B&S motor and clutch weren't installed when I got it, so I really have no idea how this all works. Maybe it's the wrong setup. Info on these is just about zero. I'm seriously considering replacing the gas motor with an electric just for fun. I hope there isn't a limit on how many...

Mine has the spare gas can on the front forks. What hangs off the front of the bracket?

I bought a Pix belt # A-203791 off e-bay. Appears to work. I figured out the width, and used this Comet clutch belt guide. Comet Belt Charts | Go Kart Belts & Mini Bike Belts

Thanks. The belt on it is 43.25 X 1 inch wide. The driven pulley is 7/8, so this one rides high and rubs on the brake drum. The engine is all the way back on adjustment, and is still slightly too short. Maybe a 7/8 the same length will allow the motor to slide forward. Could be expensive...

Mine's 7.5 driven, but 13" at the center of engine adjustment. The belt on it is over 1" wide, a little to short, and causes all kinds of problems. 7/8 looks right. If you pull your belt snug (?), what's the distance between your belt and the clutch shaft? Maybe I can get an idea from...

I've got an 8 hp briggs in a bearkat, with a Salsbury clutch. I think need a different drive belt. The bike won't freewheel, and the belt appears to short and too wide. No # on the old belt. I've seen a guide for Comet clutches, but not a Salsbury. Any ideas?

I've got a BearKat with an 8hp Briggs, model 190402. Need help or a pic of the governor and throttle linkage. I have is a spring 4.5" long, but not the rods that connect the throttle or governor. And, I don't know where they go. Thanks for the help.

12 X 6 Armstrong rear tire for a BearKat. Prefer a heavy lug traction tire.
