I didn’t have a TC, but did raise the motor mounting plate in the frame, so may have created similar constraints…. Anyway, I made brackets and reused the original MM80 tank. It’s a lot narrower top to bottom.
I wouldn’t put on anything less than a gallon unless you just put around the yard or drag race.
my tillotson will burn up gas. I was bored one day and dumped exactly a gallon in. Did my 10 mile trail route and came back and sucked it back out. Couldn’t get all of it so it’s not exact but I had just under a half gallon. So maybe 20 miles to the gallon.
I run it hard on that loop. Lots of wide open gravel roads, and a lot of off throttle then back wide open burst through the woods along with 3 pretty good hill climbs
Oh man your right it is 10 “
GPS sells it and I mounted mine with the rascal fuel tank bracket kit right under the front two frame tubes so the filler neck winds up at the widest area between the tubes just where they meet the steering neck
It’s really a clean install
The frame parts and pieces are all at the powder coaters
Should have everything this week will post some photos once it’s assembled
Here's another spot you can add a round tank to. Size of tank would depend on space available for your bike. Tank is fastened to the engine. I like the look too!
